Hours in which services will be provided may include Monday through Friday day and evening, and Saturday hours during the day. MacPhail locations include 3 metro sites and community partnership locations. Struthers Parkinson’s Center, Golden Valley, Minnesota: The Music Therapist is a specialist who has been board certified and registered for Music Therapy whose fundamental purpose is to enhance the quality of life for patients and families through the use of music. This individual’s objectives are to determine and utilize music therapy approaches, which effectively aid in the restoration, maintenance, and improvement in psychosocial, physical, and spiritual health. The Music Therapist serves as a role model in the leadership and delivery of patient/family focused care by integrating the role components of clinician, researcher, and consultant as each relates to the field of music therapy. The Music Therapist supports the processes of care delivery, referral, and staff training and development.

Assistant Professor of Music Therapy, California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB): This is a 10-month ongoing position with potential opportunity for teaching during the summer. The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in Music Therapy or a related field and lead the creation of a BA in Music Therapy degree within the Department of Music, offered starting in Fall 2024.
